Hello everyone! On a more serious note...
Each year we apply for financial support from charities such as Arts Council England and the City of Paris, but year after year, our application fails. We are determined to keep this festival alive without pushing the cost onto companies or audiences, but to make the festival sustainable we need your help!
Rêves D'Avant L'Aube Festival 2018 has grown since its humble beginnings in 2015 which was a gathering of student companies from Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance sharing British Theatre in Europe to a festival of Emergent European Theatre involving over 25 companies performing over 75 performances from 16 nationalities.
All our funding comes from the very small entrance fee we ask companies to contribute to the running of the festival as well as the kind support of friends, colleagues and sponsors donating time, space and resources to keep the festival alive year after year.
Entering its 4th year, due to our small dedicated team, the festival has grown and developed to open the festival for everyone that is accessible from all cultural backgrounds. To keep the festival open and accessible, and to sustain its growth, we urgently require extra funding to support the expansion and growth Rêves D'Avant L'Aube 2018, and for many years to come.
